Richard Saberton

I am Richard Saberton, resident of Union County for 16 years, retired after 30 years with the Bell System. In 1994 I took a basic course in wire wrapping at William Holland Lapidary School and this led on to making wire wrapped jewelry.

I use 14K gold filled and sterling silver, round and square wire of different gauges to create  various designs of bracelets, earrings, rings, and pendants. We have attended many local arts and craft shows in the past 14 years some of which are:  Butternut Creek Festival, Sorghum Festival, Historical Society's Mountain Market Place, Hayesville On The Square, Rhododendron Festival, and many others.  My jewelry is well received and liked, with many repeat customers throughout the area.
